New Jersey is 14th state to allow gay marriage, as Chris Christie ends appeal Oct 21st 2013, 18:36 A New Jersey judge had ordered the state to begin allowing gay marriage on Oct. 21. After the state Supreme Court unanimously upheld the order on Friday, Gov. Chris Christie dropped his appeal.
