Despite strike, two BART workers killed during routine maintenance trip Oct 20th 2013, 14:38 Two workers inspecting tracks of the BART system were struck and killed by a train on Saturday afternoon. In the midst of a full work stoppage, the train was being moved for maintenance, and was being run in automatic mode.
