Minnesota Somalis: Were any involved in Kenya mall attack? Sep 23rd 2013, 20:47 Minnesota Somalis condemn the Kenya mall attack. The area has the largest Somali community in the United States, and it's been a recruiting ground for Al Shabab. Since 2007, at least 22 young men have left Minnesota to join Al Shabab.
